Overview:

 

Lumber Mill is a mod for Modern Warfare gunfight mode 2v2. This is the second iteration of the design. I started with a concept and theme for the level. I then blocked the level out, playtested, iterated, and polished all the way through completion.  

 

  • Lighting, LUTs, probes

  • Fully arted my level using assets withing the editor and creating my own. 

  • Owned level from start to completion

   Level Design

 

  • Level optimization, reducing verts, reducing FX, lighting

  • I designed middle lane to have the feeling of cat and mouse with cover and more obstacles

  • I designed the warehouse lane to be the risk-reward lane. Risk the flank by going down the narrow path but if pulled off you would be behind enemy lines

  • The crane lane I wanted each side to be different. One side has a lot of covered spots to get power position overlooking the middle path - while the other side has less cover but have a head glitch to stop the other side from pushing.
